This incredible all metal preccision gyroscope is built to laboratory specification - it's in a different league to everything else outside the scientific world. Effectively it creates its own gravity, and this has all kinds of weird effects: if you hold it in your hand whilst the flywheel is spinning, for example, at certain angles it almost feels like it is trying to escape. Because this gyroscope is built so well - and it really is - even when it is spinning at 12,000RPM (you don't have to wind it, a motor is supplied!) it is very smooth and virtually silent in operation and keeps going for a lot longer than you would imagine. Beautifully machined accessories are included to perform numerous experiments. Winding motor uses four AA batteries (option to purchase batteries will appear in basket). Designed and built in UK.
