This is just an amazing train set. The locomotive is a top-of-the-range 00 scale BR 4-6-2 "Clan Line" Merchant Navy Class, with three sensational Pullman carriages that have a staggering amount of detail, inside and out - even table lamps that stay lit when the train is stationary. This is possible because with the new digital numeric controller (included) the track actually remains powered at all times and a chip inside the engine decodes instructions (also sent along the track) to accelerate, decelerate or stop. With this system you can control up to 60 different engines - including older models if you have them adapted, and 40 accessories such as points and signals, saving a huge amount of wiring. It's all supplied in a beautiful storage box (chest of drawers would be more accurate), including a double loop of track with two points and a siding, track mat and full instructions. Assembled track requires space 5'3" x 3'9".
