Product Description
The AlcoSAFE 6000 Pro Breathalyser is a reliable, robust and easy use premium breathalyser featuring user calibration and a clear, no nonsense easy to read display.
Independently Proven
The AlcoSAFE 6000 has passed and carries approvals from the US Department of Transport, Food and Drug Administration, Australian Standard Certified and also has CE and RoHS certification. Sadly, within the UK, no such approval systems exist for non Police breathalysers with many poor quality, cheaper devices being available.
All breathalysers require periodic recalibration to ensure ongoing accuracy (recommended at 300 tests or 6 months of use). The AlcoSAFE 6000 allows the customer to do this themselves by insertion of a pre-calibrated sensor module. Available separately when required. Simply remove the top cover, remove the old sensor and snap in a new sensor when required--very easy and quick with no downtime. Cheaper breathalysers do not offer this feature, meaning that you have to return the device to the manufacturer for expensive and time consuming calibration or, even worse, buy another breathalyser.
The AlcoSAFE 6000 Pro Pack comes with a precalibrated sensor already fitted and is ready for immediate use. It is small and will fit in a pocket or handbag for the personal user but can also be stored in the hard carry case for professional users. Sold to many professional users, including the NHS, who are attracted by the reliability, robustness and ease of use.
The 6000 is calibrated in mg/l--the UK/Eire limit showing as 0.35. The European limits (vary by country) but will show as 0.22 mg/l. The 6000 can be used in any country.
WARNING: There is no 'safe' alcohol limit. A breathalyser should only be used as a guide to your level of intoxication. If you have consumed any alcohol you should not attempt to DRIVE OR OPERATE MACHINERY. The exact concentration of alcohol in the blood of the test subject cannot be accurately determined by using any breathlayser device. Correlation between breath alcohol content and blood alcohol content depends on many variables. The manufacturers disclaim liability for incidental, special, or consequential damages of any nature. Periodic recalibration is specifically excluded from the manufacturer's warranty.
